Echo911 is looking to hire for the following roles:

  • Public Safety Dispatcher – Trainee
  • Public Safety Dispatcher – II (Experienced)

Echo911 currently has the following schedule options for new hire employees

  • 12-Hour Shifts – Work 3 days, off 3 days, work 2 days off 2 days, rotate. Every other weekend is off.
  • 8-Hour Shifts – Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm.

Echo911 is a private dispatch center providing contracted dispatching and radio service to Public Safety agencies in almost 30 states and growing.

We service government and corporate customers, ranging from Police, Fire, EMS, Constables, Process Servers, and Private Security. Additionally, we have 3 new contracts coming online soon that need Law Enforcement dispatch experience. 

Additional Basic Information –

Starting pay for a new trainee with no formal experience as a dispatcher is $18/h with a 6-month training and probationary period. 

Starting pay for experienced dispatcher (Previous experience in Police/Fire/EMS or E-911 Dispatch center or equivalent for at least 1 year – $20/h +

*** Limited Time Offer *** – If you are currently employed as a Police/Fire/EMS dispatcher and have APCO Law Enforcement Communications or Fire Service Communications and Public Safety Telecommunicator certification in good standing with APCO, you are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Echo911 provides a yearly cost of living raise, performance-based raise, and multiple bonus opportunities.

Echo911 also provides free in-house training by our in-house APCO-certified instructors. We routinely send our staff to outside training at no cost to our employees. We want our Dispatchers to be the best and are happy to invest in your future. 

Echo911 provided Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama individual insurance to all full time employee’s at no cost. 

  • Employee + Spouse = $250 per pay period
  • Employee + Children (no spouse or spouse insured elsewhere) = $250 per pay period
  • Family (Employee + Spouse + Children) = $250 per pay period

Echo911’s Huntsville office has a company snack & refreshment area provided at no cost to our employees. Smoking is not allowed inside, however, is permitted on break in the common outside areas.
