SOS Response

$15/mo

24/7 monitored SOS. When a radio's SOS or man-down triggers, Echo911's dispatch floor receives the alert with live GPS and coordinates the emergency response — supervisors, your units, and local authorities.

$20/mo

SpaceX Starlink LEO satellite data keeps radios talking beyond cellular coverage — wilderness response, disaster zones, and infrastructure dead spots.

The backbone

Every carrier. Best signal wins — or you decide.

One SIM, one radio, every network. Echo911 radios ride a nationwide mission-critical digital IP backbone across AT&T FirstNET, Verizon Frontline, T-Mobile FirstResponder, and 20+ regional carriers — the radio grabs the best signal automatically, or your administrator sets the carrier priority per fleet.

  • Priority public-safety networks — FirstNET, Verizon Frontline, and T-Mobile FirstResponder, with government priority options where eligible
  • 20+ regional carriers — SouthernLINC, C-Spire, US Cellular, Appalachian Wireless, Alaska networks, and more fill the rural gaps national carriers miss
  • Best Signal automatic — or drag-and-drop manual carrier priority in the portal
  • International roaming on 4G/5G data providers in 170+ countries
  • Starlink satellite add-on — LEO satellite data beyond cellular ($20/mo, government only currently)
  • Wi-Fi calling — radios keep working inside warehouses, basements, and buildings

Manage your own

Your fleet. Your portal. No tickets.

Most PTT providers make you call them to rename a radio. Echo911 customers manage their own fleet in the customer portal — every change pushes to the radio over the air.

  • Suspend & un-suspend service — radio lost or an employee leaves? Kill it in one click, restore it just as fast
  • Rename radios — aliases update everywhere, over the air, free
  • Channel mapping — drag channels onto knob positions and reorder them yourself
  • Radio settings — PTT chirps, incoming-call notifications, vibrate, low-battery thresholds, voice announcements, screen brightness
  • Wi-Fi & Bluetooth — push office Wi-Fi credentials to the whole fleet
  • Add-ons on demand — enable hotspot or satellite data per radio, right from the portal

24/7/365 NOC & Technical Support

You can't run critical systems on business-hours support.

Radios fail at 3 AM, not 3 PM. Most push-to-talk providers — and even premium public-safety network tiers — limit live technical support to business hours. Echo911 doesn't believe critical communications can work that way, which is why every account is backed by a 24/7/365 network operations center and technical support desk — the same floors that run our public-safety dispatch operation. A human who can actually fix it answers every hour of every day, including holidays.

Why teams switch

Press a button. Everyone hears you in about a second.

Push to talk is one-to-many by default: no dialing, no ringing, no voicemail. A typical PTT exchange takes ~15 seconds; the same conversation by phone takes 50+. Here's how the options actually stack up.

FAQ

Mission Critical Push to Talk, answered.

How much does Echo911 MCPTT service cost?

Echo911 Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT) service is $24 per radio per month for unlimited nationwide push to talk, GPS tracking, recording and playback, and over-the-air management — with the EchoCAD platform included at no additional cost. Optional add-ons: 24/7 monitored SOS Response at $15/month, Starlink satellite data at $20/month (currently government only), and mobile hotspot at $40/month.

What networks does Echo911 MCPTT run on?

Echo911 radios ride a nationwide mission-critical digital IP backbone across AT&T FirstNET, Verizon Frontline, T-Mobile FirstResponder, and more than 20 regional carriers. Radios select the best signal automatically, or your administrator can set a manual carrier priority per fleet — plus international roaming on 4G/5G data providers in 170+ countries and an optional Starlink satellite data add-on.

Do I need an FCC license for MCPTT radios?

No. Traditional UHF/VHF two-way radios require FCC licensing; MCPTT runs over carrier networks, so there is nothing to file, renew, or pay the FCC — and no repeaters or towers of your own to maintain.

Can I manage my own radios?

Yes. The Echo911 customer portal lets you suspend and un-suspend service, rename radios, re-map channel knob positions, change radio settings, configure Wi-Fi, and enable add-ons yourself — over the air, without opening a ticket.

Is technical support really 24/7?

Yes. Echo911 operates a 24/7/365 network operations center (NOC) and technical support desk — the same floors that run our public-safety dispatch operation. Most PTT providers limit live technical support to business hours; we do not believe critical systems can run on business-hours support.

Does MCPTT service require Echo911 CAD or dispatch?

No. MCPTT service is available standalone. EchoCAD is included at no additional cost with radio service if you want it — run it with your own dispatchers — and it fully integrates with Echo911 managed dispatch if you ever want us on the radio.
