911inet shuts down dispatch services.
911inet discontinued its dispatch operations on September 1, 2026, leaving its security, patrol, and agency customers to find a new provider. Many of those customers migrated to Federated Communications.
911inet shut down its dispatch services on September 1. At roughly 8 PM on September 30, Federated Communications announced that its dispatch operations would be suspended at 6 AM the next morning, about ten hours of notice. Echo911 is an FCC-registered Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP #8753), and we are building a transition plan for affected companies and agencies right now.
Both dates come from the providers' own announcements. This is the risk of buying dispatch from a reseller or call center instead of registered public safety infrastructure.
911inet discontinued its dispatch operations on September 1, 2026, leaving its security, patrol, and agency customers to find a new provider. Many of those customers migrated to Federated Communications.
In a notice posted the evening of September 30, Federated Communications announced that, following the sale of its parent company (Federated Global Ventures, LLC), its dispatch services would be:
"…temporarily suspended effective at 6:00 AM on October 1, 2026… Clients who wish to continue using their Federated Communications radios without dispatch services may keep their radio service active under a $30 per month radio-service subscription."
That is roughly ten hours of notice, posted overnight, and the radios keep billing with no dispatcher behind them.

Due to the abrupt closure of 911inet and Federated Communications dispatch services, Echo911 is finalizing a transition plan and will have more information on October 1 for interested parties to use their existing Kirisun radios with Echo911 service.
This will not be a long-term arrangement. Kirisun radios do not meet the MCPTT/MCX standards Echo911 must meet, so we are looking at an option to allow them for 30-60 days while we acquire more inventory and new customers order and switch to Echo911 MCPTT equipment.
If you're interested in Echo911 services, fill out the interest form. We'll send the October 1 details and a quote to the email and cell number you provide.
Your dispatch desk answers when an officer calls for help, when a guard goes down, and when a client's alarm trips at 3 AM. Echo911 is an FCC-registered Public Safety Answering Point: a real emergency communications center, registered in the national 911 system, with a registered government failover center behind it. Not another fly-by-night call center pretending to offer full-service dispatch.
No per-module upsells and no "CAD access fee." EchoCAD, EchoMDT, EchoCAD Mobile, and Records are all included: the same platform our dispatchers use to work your account.
Unlimited nationwide encrypted push to talk on a multi-carrier mission-critical backbone. No dispatch contract required.
A named user with their own radio, dispatched around the clock by protocol-certified telecommunicators at a registered PSAP.
One radio shared across a post, site, or shift rotation. Your team passes it on as they see fit, dispatched 24/7.
One flat $40/month account administration fee per account, regardless of user or radio count (see dispatch pricing). Echo911 MCPTT radios are purchased separately: PS35 Public Safety $599 $699 Save $100 · BG25 $249 $299 Save $50 · IC35 in-vehicle $279 $399 Save $120. See the radio lineup and the Fall Sale. Semi-dedicated ($7.25/hr) and fully dedicated ($32/hr) dispatcher positions are also available for larger operations.

Short term, that is the plan we are finalizing. Echo911 will publish details on October 1, 2026 for a temporary option (roughly 30-60 days) that lets former 911inet and Federated Communications customers run their existing Kirisun radios on Echo911 service while we acquire additional inventory and you order Echo911 MCPTT equipment. It cannot be a long-term arrangement, because Kirisun hardware does not meet the MCPTT/MCX standards Echo911 must meet. Fill out the interest form and we will send the October 1 update directly to you.
Five quick things: the full name of the account holder, your business or agency name, how many radios you run, whether they are shared/site radios or dedicated user radios, and a good email address and cellular phone number. We use those to send you updates (including the October 1 Kirisun bridge details) and a written quote for service.
No. Talk Around radio service is $24 per radio per month, standalone, with no dispatch contract required: nationwide encrypted push to talk with GPS tracking and over-the-air management. Add 24/7 dispatched users ($80/user/month) or shared site radios ($250/radio/month) whenever you are ready.
Included. Dispatched accounts get the full platform: the EchoCAD console, EchoMDT for vehicles, EchoCAD Mobile for phones and tablets, and built-in Records (RMS). There is one flat $40/month account administration fee per account, no matter how many users or radios, and that is published on our dispatch page, not buried in a quote.
They come with you. Echo911 offers a THERMS-to-EchoCAD importer for organizations converting fully to EchoCAD, so your incident history, contracts, and reports carry over instead of staying behind in a system you are leaving.
A PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) is an FCC-registered emergency communications center. Registration means the FCC knows who the center is, where it operates, and that it is part of the national 911 infrastructure. Echo911 is FCC PSAP #8753, with Coosada 911 Communications District (FCC PSAP #8914) as our failover communications center. A call center that "does dispatch" has none of that, and as the last 30 days showed, it can disappear overnight. Ask any vendor for their FCC PSAP ID, then verify it yourself with our free PSAP search tool.
911inet, Federated Communications, Federated Global Ventures, Kirisun, and THERMS are names or trademarks of their respective owners, used for identification only; their use does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by those parties. Statements about third-party service changes reflect those providers' own public announcements as of September 30, 2026. The sales interest form is not monitored for emergencies; active Echo911 customers should use their established dispatch channels.
Tell us about your operation, get the Kirisun bridge details on October 1, and get a written quote from an FCC-registered PSAP, not another call center.
