PSAP & Dispatch Tools

At Echo911, we are dedicated to equipping Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and dispatch agencies with helpful tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and public safety. Explore our suite of simple tools designed specifically for the needs of emergency communication professionals:

1. (CID) Caller Intelligence

Empower Your Dispatch Center with Enhanced Caller Insights

Our Caller ID Intelligence (CID) service revolutionizes traditional caller ID by providing comprehensive data and actionable insights to support PSAPs and dispatch agencies in their critical decision-making processes. By leveraging information from the carrier that owns the phone number, Echo911 CID Intelligence enables dispatch centers to access additional details about administrative & non-911 incoming calls, information that would ususally only be visible on NG-911 calls.

Key Features of CID Intelligence

When a phone number is processed through our CID Intelligence service, the following information is retrieved and displayed:

  • Carrier Information: The name of the carrier that owns the phone line or account.
  • Phone Line Type: Whether the number is a mobile, VoIP, landline, or other type.
  • Caller ID Name: The caller ID name as set by the line owner.
  • Account Name: The name associated with the account or line of service for the phone number.
  • Number Verification: Confirmation that the number is valid and active according to the carrier. (Payment suspended lines will show valid)
  • Registered Address: The registered address for the phone number, either the billing address or the set E-911 fixed location address if WiFi calling is enabled.

Additional Tools and Insights

  • Primary PSAP Information: Using the address provided by the carrier, we identify the Primary PSAP or Communications District, including:
    • The PSAP FCC ID #.
    • The Primary PSAP’s phone and fax numbers (if listed).
  • Geographic Visualization: A small Google Map view of the registered address, allowing dispatchers to quickly visualize the caller's location.

How CID Benefits PSAPs and Dispatch Centers

  • Enhanced Caller Verification: Quickly verify and cross-check information provided by non-911 callers who reach administrative or non-emergency lines.
  • Accurate Call Routing: Identify the correct PSAP for callers who dial the wrong center, especially crucial for non-local or cellular callers.
  • Simplify Cellular Caller Identification: CID solves the challenge of identifying wireless callers whose caller ID is set to generic labels like "Wireless Caller." This is especially helpful in cases such as:
    • Hang-up calls from unregistered or cellular numbers.
    • Notifications from devices like Apple Crash Detection or Life360.
  • Improve Emergency Responses: By providing detailed information, CID Intelligence enables dispatchers to locate and verify information faster, improving response times and outcomes.
