Caller intelligence

Non-emergency CallerID intelligence.

Look up carrier, line type, caller ID name, account name, number verification, registered address, and the caller's primary PSAP, the information you'd normally only see on an NG-911 call, for your administrative and non-911 lines.

Requests used: 0 of 10 (10 remaining) per 24 hours.

Notice

Notice to users of Echo911 CID Intelligence.

This service is intended to assist Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and other authorized users in attempting to obtain non-emergency caller information.

  1. No guarantee of accuracy: the information provided through this service may not always be accurate, up-to-date, or complete.
  2. No warranty: this service is provided "as-is," without any warranties, express or implied.
  3. Limitation of liability: Echo911 shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in the information provided, or for any actions taken based on this information. Use of this service is entirely at your own risk. Note: payment-suspended lines will show as valid.

This tool is intended to supplement your agency's existing processes and should not be relied upon as a sole source of information for critical decision-making. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Request advanced access: if your PSAP, agency, or department requires higher query limits and additional features, submit a request and our team will tailor a solution to your needs.

Removal requests: if this tool displays your information and you would like it removed from public results, submit a removal request. This only nullifies the result returned by Echo911's lookup. Echo911 does not collect or control the underlying data, which stays with the carriers and providers listed below.

Data sources

Where this data comes from.

Results are assembled in real time from third-party sources, including Twilio Lookup, carrier LIDB/CNAM records, and commercial Caller ID databases.

Echo911 does not collect, own, maintain, or sell this information. We only display lookup results to assist public safety agencies with administrative and non-911 calls.

Caller ID records are maintained by telephone carriers and commercial data providers. Any correction or deletion request must be submitted directly to the carrier or database operator responsible for the record.

Major Caller ID and identity-data providers include:

  • TransUnion / Neustar
  • Transaction Network Services (TNS)
  • First Orion
  • Hiya
  • Truecaller
  • Whitepages
  • Ekata / Mastercard Identity

Common data sources by service:

  • Traditional CNAM: carriers, LIDBs, and TransUnion/Neustar
  • AT&T call labels: Hiya
  • T-Mobile call labels: First Orion
  • Verizon call labels: TNS
  • Global Caller ID: Truecaller
  • Reverse-phone lookup: Whitepages and Twilio
  • Branded calling: First Orion, Hiya, TNS, and TransUnion/Neustar
Advice for citizens: if you do not want your name and details distributed with your phone number, contact your carrier and ask that your Caller ID information be set to anonymous or private, and ask to be excluded from directory and data-sharing programs. Most carriers sell or license their subscriber data to the providers listed above for profit. Requesting removal from Echo911 only nullifies the result this tool returns publicly. The carriers and providers above keep their own records, and Echo911 has no control over them. Request removal from Echo911's public results here.
