Introducing EchoAlert RMS (v2) and Our New EchoRMS Standalone Option

Echo911 is preparing to release EchoAlert RMS Version 2, the next evolution of our records and reporting platform. Alongside it, we are also introducing EchoRMS Standalone, a new deployment option that makes the same RMS available to agencies that do not use Echo911 radios or dispatch services.

EchoAlert RMS Version 2 and EchoRMS Standalone share the same core system, features, and security model. The difference is how they are deployed. EchoAlert RMS remains fully integrated with Echo911 dispatch operations, while EchoRMS Standalone allows agencies to use the RMS independently alongside their existing communications or dispatch provider.

This release represents a major step forward in making modern public safety records management accessible without forcing agencies to replace systems that already work for them.

One RMS Platform, Two Ways to Deploy

EchoAlert RMS Version 2 and EchoRMS Standalone are built on the same platform. Agencies receive the same professional grade RMS regardless of whether they are using Echo911 dispatch services.

Built for Collaboration, Controlled by You

Every module in the system includes built in sharing and access control.

Agencies can securely connect with other agencies on the platform and share cases when working jointly. When allowed, partner agencies can add statements, supplemental narratives, and attachments directly into shared case files. All contributions are attributed and fully audit logged.

Nothing is shared automatically. Each agency controls who can view a case, who can contribute, and what information is visible.

Public and Controlled Sharing

The system supports controlled public sharing when appropriate.

Agencies can generate public sharing links and official PDFs for warrants, missing persons, BOLOs, and other approved records. Links can be time limited or restricted, allowing information to be shared responsibly with the public, courts, or partner organizations.

Core Reports and Records

Property and Patrol Status Reports
Document patrol activity, property checks, shift coverage, and security presence using structured, time stamped reports.

Towing Reports
Track vehicle tows including location, reason, authorization, vehicle details, and towing company information. If towing occurs on a registered property, management is sent notification of the tow automatically.

Narrative Reports
Create detailed officer narratives for incidents, investigations, and follow up activity.

Incident and Offense Reports
Incident and offense reporting is structured to align with FBI National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) reporting standards to support consistent data collection and classification.

Use of Force Reports
Document use of force incidents including officer and subject involvement, type of force used, justification, injuries, and review status.

Trespassing Reports
Formally document trespass warnings and enforcement actions, including linked properties and individuals.

Wanted and Warrants
Track wanted persons and active warrants with real-time status updates, supporting documentation, and controlled sharing permissions. Provide a public-facing warrant portal that allows agencies to publish approved warrants, while enabling the public to submit tips securely. Support anonymous tip submissions with unique report identification numbers, allowing follow-up and reward coordination upon apprehension, without exposing the tipster’s identity.

Missing Persons
Manage missing person cases with identifying details, updates, and optional public sharing portal.

Public Interaction and Digital Statements

Tip Line and Requests for Information
Collect tips or information related to incidents, with anonymous submission options if enabled.

Witness and Victim Statements
Send secure links via text or email that allow victims and witnesses to submit written statements and electronic signatures remotely. Submitted statements are automatically converted to PDF and stored directly in the associated case file. Optional identity verification can be enforced using SSN, driver’s license or government ID validation, including selfie-based verification. The system also supports recorded video statements with automatic text transcription.

Confession Statements
Capture formal confession statements with acknowledgments, signatures, and secure storage.

People and Vehicle Search

People Search
Search individuals by name and location, with optional access to identifiers such as SSN and driver license or ID number. Access to sensitive identifiers requires agency credentialing and certification approval.

License Plate Search
Search license plate data for investigative, enforcement, or reporting use. Requires agency credentialing and certification approval.

VIN Search
Lookup vehicle identification numbers to support investigations, towing, and property related cases. Requires agency credentialing and certification approval.

Caller Phone Number Data
Associate caller or contact intelligence data with people, incidents, and case files where appropriate. Get phone account data including billing addresses, owner name, and more.

Evidence, Property, and Administrative Tools

Evidence and Property Management
Track seized, recovered, or logged evidence and property with full chain of custody tracking.

Lost Property
Document lost or found items with ownership and disposition details.

Parking Permits
Issue and manage resident, employee, or authorized parking permits.

Guest and Visitor Permits
Manage temporary visitor and guest parking permissions.

Parking Citations
Create and manage parking citations with vehicle and violation details.

Resident Complaint Forms
Allow residents or stakeholders to submit complaints directly into the system.

Officer Accommodation and Complaint Forms
Provide a formal process for officer accommodations, internal complaints, and professional standards matters.

Property Manager and Business Owner Access

When approved by an agency, EchoAlert RMS Version 2 and EchoRMS Standalone support limited access accounts for property managers and business owners.

These users can view basic report information tied to their properties, review trespass lists and enforcement details, and use approved self management tools without access to sensitive investigative data. They can update property/business information, and contact information.

Built for Real Public Safety Work

This platform is mobile friendly, permission based, and fully audit logged. It supports single agency operations as well as multi agency collaboration without sacrificing control or accountability.

EchoAlert RMS Version 2 and EchoRMS Standalone are full RMS platforms built by people who understand public safety work.

Availability and Pricing

EchoRMS Standalone will be available starting at $149 per month.
EchoAlert RMS Version 2 is included at no additional cost for Echo911 dispatch customers.

Agencies interested in EchoRMS Standalone can fill out the notification form to be alerted when it becomes available. Additional details will be announced soon.
