Public Safety Communications Director
Cierra Pitsis
Cierra Pitsis brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Echo911’s communications team. She began her public safety telecommunications career as a dispatcher with Morgan County 911, later serving as a dispatcher for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. Her dedication to the field led her to become a 911 Supervisor at the United States Redstone Arsenal, followed by her role as a Police Dispatcher at The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Cierra joined Echo911 as Director of Communications, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing Echo911’s mission to provide exceptional service to the agencies and communities we serve. Her extensive operational background and commitment to excellence make her a driving force in shaping the next generation of emergency communications.
Logistics Coordinator
Dylan Farley plays a critical role in managing logistics and backend operations at Echo911. He oversees order fulfillment, inventory control, and supports agency onboarding, acting as a key liaison between departments to ensure seamless coordination. Dylan is also an APCO-certified public safety telecommunicator and provides backup support to the dispatch team when needed. In addition to his operational duties, Dylan is a nationally recognized critical care provider, holding an active FP-C certification and Paramedic licenses in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Texas, and by the time you're reading this, that list is probably even longer.
Melvenia Mount
Mel is originally from Tuskegee Al.
She has worked in communications for 19 years beginning her career in 2007 with the City of Brighton. Melvenia started with Echo911 in January of 2020 (she has been with us since DAY ONE)!
Mel won't admit to this, but she is the glue that holds dispatch together. Mel is also referred to as our human CAD, Mel has an amazing memory for recalling past details.
Steven "Shaggy" White
Shaggy has been with Echo911 since 2022, bringing with him valuable prior dispatch experience from his time with Madison County Fire. He is known for staying calm under pressure and has a remarkable ability to communicate effectively with distressed callers, offering reassurance, guidance, and collecting critical, time sensitive information. Outside of Echo911, Shaggy continues to serve his community as the Assistant Chief of his local fire department.
Kim Lucero
Kim started with Echo911 in 2023 and brings over 40 years of experience in EMS and a wealth of knowledge from her time as a Paramedic. She began her extensive career in 1983 and joined Echo911 with previous dispatch experience, having served for eight years in New Bedford, Massachusetts. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending quality time with her family, knitting, and is joyfully anticipating the birth of her 21st grandchild! Kim brings high energy and genuine enthusiasm for both her work and the Echo911 mission. She is eager to learn, always willing to go the extra mile, and plays a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Brooke Potter
Brooke joined the Echo911 family in September 2024, bringing with her valuable experience from Jacksonville, FL, where she worked at a local hospital dispatching EMS and Medevac helicopters for patient transport.
Jordan Oreskovich
Jordan joined Echo911 in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in public safety. He has proudly served Madison County Fire since 2015 as an Alabama Fire College certified Firefighter. His background also includes work as a Detention Officer and several years in private security. Additionally, Jordan holds medical training as an ATT2, further enhancing his ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Since joining Echo911, Jordan has demonstrated significant professional and personal growth through consistent hard work and a commitment to excellence. He has transitioned into a proactive and strategic member of the team. His performance has steadily improved, reflected in his reliability, responsiveness, and ability to adapt quickly to the evolving demands of the job. Jordan continues to be a valuable asset to Echo911 and the communities we serve.
Hailey Grubb
Hailey joined the Echo911 team in late 2024, making her one of our newest dispatchers. Despite being new to Echo911, Hailey brings a wealth of experience to the role, having started her public safety career in 2017. She holds certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and Emergency Telecommunicator (ETC), with a strong background in police, fire and EMS dispatching. Hailey's high energy and positive attitude are contagious on the floor. She’s quickly adapted to the pace and responsibilities at Echo911, proving herself to be a valuable asset to the team in a short amount of time. In her off time, Hailey enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, loves to support local shopping, sipping on her favorite coffee, and making memories with her boyfriend and his son.
Margaret & Sophia
Echo911 is proud to "employ" Margaret & Sophia who were adopted by our staff from Forgotten Felines out of Huntsville in 2022. They are on-call 24/7 to support our staff with biscuits, cuddles and much more. They take their duty to ensure every electric blanket is in tip-top working order very seriously.
