Which Echo911 products use the RapidSOS integration?

Both EchoPhone and EchoCAD. EchoPhone surfaces RapidSOS data on the call-taker's intake screen the moment a 911 call is answered, and EchoCAD plots the device-based location on the live dispatch map alongside the ANI/ALI location.

Does my agency need anything extra to use it?

No separate software. Echo911 provisions and configures the RapidSOS connection for verified public safety agencies as part of onboarding, and it runs inside the EchoCAD platform your dispatchers already use.

How is this different from the ANI/ALI location we already get?

ANI/ALI tells you where the phone company thinks the caller is, which can be a billing address or a cell tower sector. RapidSOS supplies device-based location and supplemental data shared by the caller's device where available, giving dispatchers a second, often more precise, source to work from. EchoCAD shows both so the telecommunicator can compare.
